It's the end of the world as we know it, but that doesn't mean that love is dead. Life is harsh in the post-apocalyptic world. The land is scarred by years of war and pollution. The skies are dark, apocalyptic storm clouds block out the sun. But in this dark world, there is still romance. Brandon McCormick's Meat Cute: A Post-Apocalyptic Slice-Of-Life Romance Story packs enough gore that is liberally sprinkled with romance to make this enjoyable, especially for Y/A sci-fi fans. Recommended.
