In “Terminal Chase” by Ehud Peled we find Emil Dreyfus, whose unremarkable existence is turned upside down when he is unexpectedly confronted with the possibility of developing blood cancer at such an early age in his thirties…. Emil, in a state of bewilderment, makes the decision to drown his sorrows in a local bar. There, he is taken aback when he is approached by Jenny, a beautiful woman who is keeping a shocking secret of her own. After spending a wonderful night together, Emil is left with the feeling that perhaps something miraculous has happened to change his luck… However, his joy won't last for very long… The next day, Jenny's body was discovered, and Emil learns that he is at the center of a conspiracy that spans the entire country. Soon after that, he finds himself caught in a web of drug trafficking gangs, renegade secret agents, and high-stakes call girls, all of which point in the same direction: to the President of the United States… Along with his feisty journalist buddy Carmen Gold, he must now fight for more than just his life…
Overall, "Terminal Chase" is a thrilling ride full of twists and turns, with a well-crafted plot and well-drawn characters. It is a must-read for fans of conspiracy thrillers and anyone who enjoys a fast-paced, action-packed story. Highly recommended and a well-deserved five stars from me.
