A well-crafted dystopian mystery thriller...

Friendship City: Hanging by a Thread by Carl H. Mitchell is a captivating political thriller and suspense novel set in a dystopian future of the year 2058. The story revolves around the characters of Nick Garvey, an NYPD detective, and Lenora Allison, the President of the United States. They are fighting against the remnants of the World Council, who are intent on introducing a deadly man-made plague and destroying Friendship City.

The author weaves a fascinating dystopian tale with intriguing twists and turns that easily had me hooked from the beginning. The author paints a dystopian society in a very vivid and convincing way. In addition, the characters are drawn with great credibility and conviction. It’s an intriguing and mesmerizing story that had me engaged from the first page to the last.

This book is highly recommended for anyone who loves a good read. Carl H. Mitchell has crafted a captivating story that will leave readers wanting more. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it gets a well-deserved five stars from me.
