A Masterful Thriller That Redefines Road-Trip Terror...
Highway to Hell, by Maureen Anne Meehan, is a gripping thriller that takes readers on a harrowing voyage down America's darkest roadways. When a body is discovered at an abandoned truck stop, FBI consultant Mary Macintosh is drawn into a decades-long mystery. The killer, nicknamed the Highway Phantom, is always one step ahead, using technology and the open road to hide his tracks. Meehan keeps the tension high by combining clever forensics with heart-pounding scenes that make it difficult to put the book down. As Mary gets closer to the truth, the threat becomes more personal, culminating in a tense encounter. If you enjoy crime stories with cunning twists, this one is definitely worth reading. Highly recommended.
